Hi! I’m Camille Ramos, a Professional Freelance Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist based in Metro Manila, Philippines. I have been doing hair and makeup as a profession since 2009. Currently, I work as a full-time mobile makeup artist and hair stylist, I also travel around the country for destination weddings and other events. I specialize in Wedding/Bridal Hair and Makeup. I received my professional training from the Fashion Institute of the Philippines. I occasionally work as a Guest Makeup Artist for Estée Lauder Companies Inc. makeup brands such as M·A·C and Bobbi Brown.
With the past jobs that I had, it never really occurred to me that I would end up making a career out of being a makeup artist or a hair stylist. But for as long as I can remember I have been really passionate about great make-up and skincare, both of which can bring out one’s best features and make a woman look naturally radiant and young-looking.
I started modeling when I was 14 years old and have been a part of numerous fashion shows, photo shoots, and commercials. Last 2008 I was blessed enough to gain the title “Mutya ng Navotas” which was a city wide beauty pageant. I also performed in theater plays and was on the road for a couple of years with Sining Pinagpala Theater Foundation Inc. as Paulita Gomez in the play “El Filibusterismo” and Laura in “Florante at Laura”.
Most of my experience with pageants, fashion shows and theater involved applying makeup and hair styling, after coming to a realization that I was skilled with this craft, and that I was getting better and better at it as time passed. I made a personal decision to try and make a career out of it.
I treat all my clients differently since no two persons are alike. I give a more personalized approach when dealing with each and every one of my clients and it is my ultimate goal to provide hair and makeup services to their full satisfaction. I believe that people are naturally beautiful and I have made it a mission to help them realize that by enhancing their natural beauty. I am a firm believer that everyone is naturally beautiful and nothing gives me more pleasure and joy, than helping people realize that within themselves.
WHAT’S IN MY BAG
My makeup kit consists mostly of M·A·C, Bobbi Brown, Kryolan and a range of other high-end makeup brands. Below are a few details about the products that I use. ( all the information below were taken from their respective websites)
Make-Up Art Cosmetics started life in Toronto, Canada. Makeup artist and photographer Frank Toskan and salon owner Frank Angelo became frustrated by the lack of makeup that photographed well, so they decided to create their own. At first, they made the cosmetics in their kitchen and sold them straight from the salon to fellow makeup artists, as well as models and photographers. Soon, stylists and fashion editors got in on the action. As the magazine credits racked up and word-of-mouth popularity grew, the duo launched M·A·C in March 1984 from a counter in a Toronto department store.
Bobbi Brown Cosmetics
